Our Team
Founder and CEO
After 25 years in a variety of sales careers ranging from manufacturing to telecommunications, Ross saw an opportunity in the business world. Energy being a top 5 expense for organizations, he realized that very few had dedicated Energy Managers.
Ross founded AMRA Energy in 2010 to fill this void for companies and to help them manage and control their energy expenditures. Partnering with companies of all sizes, AMRA Energy has helped hundreds of organizations navigate through the confusing world of energy cost management. Ross is married with four children and two grandchildren. Based in Traverse City, Michigan, Ross is passionate about nature and is a competitive powerlifter.
President
As President, Dave’s experience, focus and expertise have been a significant factor in AMRA Energy’s growth and success. After earning a BA in Economics from Calvin College and an MBA from the University of Michigan, Dave spent the next 25 years in his family’s retail food business, Duthler’s Family Foods, the last ten of those years as President. Since 2004 Dave has also served on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Grocer’s Association, including 2 years as Chairman.
Dave is married with four children and multiple grandchildren. Dave enjoys golfing, traveling with his wife, and spending time on Bostwick Lake with family and friends.
Sales & Marketing Director
After seeing the incredible success and growth of AMRA Energy since 2010, Kristin became impassioned by the core values of AMRA Energy and left her career to join her husband’s business in 2020.
With a degree in Communications and Marketing from Western Michigan University, Kristin manages AMRA’s marketing and sales efforts. Kristin and Ross share 1 child. Kristin loves being a mom and enjoys time with her family at their lake home and competitive powerlifting.
